They also drew a record-breaking crowd to Manchester’s AO Arena, but it wasn’t enough to turn McGregor’s head.

The Irishman is partners with David Feldman in owning the promotion, and gave a truly outlandish press conference following tonight’s event in Glasgow. One moment that stood out was his rant against Till, who is one of the sport’s biggest stars.

**COMEBACK:** Conor McGregor will ‘lay down’ his gloves but not retire after final UFC fight in 2027

## Conor McGregor launches stunning rant at Darren Till

While Darren Till’s fight with Yoel Romero may have flattered to deceive in terms of raw violence, it is hardly remembered as an all-time stinker in BKFC. That is, it appears, unless you’re Conor McGregor who hated the entire thing.

McGregor was in the process of praising the promotion’s new breakout star Sean Weir, who sold over 3,000 tickets and delivered a first round stoppage to the packed house at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro. He then decided to take a shot at Till, who is apparently a potential future opponent for the Scot.

Conor McGregor was not happy with Darren Till’s last performance in BKFC

“Sean Wier got offered Darren Till, what the f**k would he want a name for he wants a world title. We’re not here for celebrity white collar boxing which is what his last fight was, I was disgusted by it” pic.twitter.com/2LEHh862wH

— FULL SEND MMA (@full_send_mma) November 8, 2026

“Sean Weird, the UK champion, got offered a name in Darren Till,” McGregor revealed. “The f— would he want a name for? He wants a world title. We are in this business for world title honors.

“We’re not in it for celebrity white collar boxing, which is what the last one was. A spar. The first bare-knuckle spar I’ve ever seen with little handshakes to the side of the head. I was disgusted by it.”

![image](/media/objects/71/7179ad3b8dca57a695a72a837dd6c8b76576d263eabf105c4b92386c3429ecc6_thumb.jpg)","Donagh Corby",[40,25],"rss"]
